Testing Rules:
First, thank you in advanced and Welcome to the Palouse Hills Amateur Radio Club. Be advised that the PHARC VE team members are not in competition or competing to be the best VE test session but to provide an avenue to welcome you to the world of Amateur Radio regardless of your race, color, religion, sex, national origin, political preference and/or Amateur Radio Club preference. You do not need to be a member of the PHARC and no one will ask you to do so, this will be at your free will and choice.
We will not tolerate any form of cheating in the test room. Any applicant caught in the act will be escorted out of the testing room and we will report the ARRL and the FCC for immediate enforcement action and you will loose your testing fee.
You must notify us if you have a calculator. Any and all calculators must have the memory erased before starting the test. We will check to ensure integrity.
Any applicant must have exact change if possible. I will make all efforts to have change for a $20 bill. Please be considerate and understanding as we may not have change for a $50 or $100 dollars bills.
Personal checks may be acceptable, please ask first.
There's restrooms in our facilities for your convenience. Please use the restroom if needed, before the test start. If, and only if you have an emergency that requires the use of the restroom in the middle of your test session, we will allow you to retake the test. In this case we will change test to another test. Example: If you are taking Technician Class element 2 serial number 45, we will give you a complete new set. In this case something like this: Element 2 serial number 65. This a one time per applicant per session incident.
Every applicant must show identification before taking a test. This is to ensure the integrity of our session and to ensure the applicant taking the test is the actual applicant. There's no exceptions.
For more information please call Tom Storer KI6DER at 509-334-6979 or email me at: KI6DER@AmSat.org
