Minutes for 04/22/09
The April meeting of the Palouse Hills ARC was called to order by President Tom Storer KI6DER at the Sandpiper Restaurant in Moscow at 19:05.

Old Business

Field day on June 27th &28th was discussed.  The discussion was mostly in favor of holding it at Camp Grizzly and including a GOTA station as a way to get Scouts involved.  Different modes of operation and ways to increase points earned also were discussed.  It was then decided to table further discussion until next meeting in May.

It was noted that weather training was held prior to our meeting but nobody attending had attended.

KI6DER reported that we had 15 people take advantage of our last testing session and 11 passed their exams.

New Business

KI6DER reported that the next testing session would be held on May 2nd at a place yet to be determined.  After that a new permanent site would need to found because we had lost our contact at the U of I site.  KC7QCS also reported that he has had a request for a General Class level Class.  A class was discussed as well as also holding a code class but no decision was made.
